It was not until working through the well formed outcome criteria that I discovered why my goal was important to me and how important it was. It has been an emotional roller coaster writing this assignment, but it has had a fundamental effect on me.....It is now up to me to achieve my goal which I will do. Thank you Liz What she found was an openness about their need to improve and willingness to adapt their approaches that led to their success. Upon her return to the UK she researched the area and started training in NLP. She has trained in depth with the original developers of the subject, and now assists them. She is one of only 30 coaches professionally accredited by the ICF in the UK . She is passionate about horses, the connection to nature that they offer, and what they can teach us about ourselves. Her courses about applying NLP to riding have been attended by hundreds of people and she is a frequent contributor to equestrian magazines. Her book, Simple Steps to Riding Success is a great success around the world, and has already been translated into several languages. Signed copies are available from this website. She is also co-author of 'The Veterinary Care of the Horse' with Sue Devereux, published by JA Allen. It has sold over 56,000 copies and it set a new standard for clarity and ease of use in the stable yard. Earlier in her career she worked in Marketing and Consultancy at Nestle, Mars, Rank Holidays and Accenture. She now runs experiential workshops and is an executive NLP coach for companies. (See http://www.sportingtactics.co.uk/for more information ) She lives near Guildford , and owns 3 horses with whom to play, classically train and sometimes compete in affiliated dressage and show jumping (see also Luca's story). She is highly approachable, with a lively sense of humour and loves to work with people who want to experience their relationship with horses more successfully. For me the greatest thing is how much it affected my approach to everyday matters as well as my riding. I seem to see things so much more clearly and so I can accept and deal with them. I’m not in such a fog anymore and am so much more relaxed about things that used to get me really stewed up!
