One to One CoachingOne to one sessions are very powerful because we just focus on your, your beliefs, your history, and how you want to be different. Together we are committed to your agenda and what needs to happen to achieve it. Our role is to support and encourage, ask powerful questions and listen – not just to your words, but to what is behind the words. As ICF trained and accredited coaches this is the main focus of our business work. From past experience we do not do ‘one off' sessions, so require a minimum of a 3 session commitment, which is structured as follows:
The three sessions together cost £400, plus a contribution to travel and meeting room costs if necessary. One to One coaching supports the work you are already doing with your instructor by helping you to take a fresh perspective on your riding goals and what your need to do to achieve them.
'Complete Confidence''Complete Confidence' sessions are for small groups often shared with friends and can include ridden sessions. Please ring us to discuss costs, which are based on location and the number of participantsConsider the InvestmentThink carefully about the value of such personal input to you, consider how much you are spending on your horse, tack, competitions etc. When you know how much horses are worth to you, put together a realistic budget for your confidence and mental attitude too! Having a coaching relationship is an opportunity to take time out just for you, to reflect on what really matters, what outcomes you want, as well as the practical aspects of identifying the steps towards those goals and motivating yourself. It is likely to impact on much more than your riding success, and those who have undertaken it have found benefits in all areas of their lives. Recently we came 5th in the intermediate class at a show jumping competition and I found it fun rather than the ordeal I would have found it this time last year at half the height. I’m now considering doing an Eventing Intro class and perhaps Pre Novice next year The session with you was the turning point, before that I felt I was spiralling into more and more fear every time I tried to jump. . What’s interesting is that some of the people who made sympathetic noises when I wasn’t able to jump now sometimes seem to be finding it difficult to accept that I am doing well!
